Day by day (9 days)

  1. Day 1: Bagdogra Airport – PhuentsholingMeet and greet upon arrival at NJP Train Station / IXB Airport. Transfer to Phuentsholing, a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. Check into the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

  2. Day 2: Phuentsholing – ThimphuComplete immigration formalities after breakfast and proceed to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Check in at the hotel and explore the Tashichhoe Dzong from the outside, a fortress of glorious religion. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

  3. Day 3: Thimphu SightseeingExplore Thimphu after breakfast, visiting the outer view of Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), Hindu Temple, National Memorial Chorten (Monument), and a short hike to Wagdi Tse Lhakhang (40 mins). In the afternoon, visit the Nunnery, BBS Tower, National Library, Centenary Farmer Market, and the Craft Bazaar for shopping. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

  4. Day 4: Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdue SightseeingAfter breakfast, drive to Punakha/Wangdue. Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.) for stunning views of the Himalayan mountain ranges. Visit Punakha Dzong, a majestic fortress, and take a short hike to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten (replica of National Memorial Chorten). Explore the Suspension Bridge and enjoy an evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha.

  5. Day 5: Punakha - ParoDrive to Paro after breakfast, visiting the riverside and Bonday Zangthophelri. On the way, see the Airport View and visit Ta Dzong – National Museum, and Rinpung Dzong (outer view). Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.

  6. Day 6: Paro Sightseeing - Option 1After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Chele-La-Pass, the highest motorable road in Bhutan. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes. Return to Paro. In the evening, try Bhutanese Traditional Dress and shop in town. Overnight stay at Paro.

  7. Day 6: Paro Sightseeing - Option 2After breakfast, visit the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest). If time permits, visit Drukgyel Dzong. Overnight stay at Paro.

  8. Day 7: Paro – PhuentsholingAfter breakfast, check out and transfer to Phuentsholing. Check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

  9. Day 8: Phuentsholing - Bagdogra DepartureCheck out after breakfast and transfer to NJP Train Station / IXB Airport. The tour concludes with sweet memories of the trip with Raahgira Holidays.

Payment, cancellation and good to know

How payment works

  • INR. 5000/- Per Person Advance at the time of tour booking. (Non Refundable)
  • Complete 50% amount of total tour cost within 8 days after booking
  • Balance payment should be done 20 days prior to the travel date.
  • Full Payment for Train/ Flight tickets booking.

If you need to cancel

  • If cancellations are made 60-30 days before the start date of the trip, 30% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-30 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
